Angelina was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Home, to her, is being surrounded by an abundance of family, friends and food on a Sunday afternoon.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Science in Architecture from NC State University. She is continuing her studies there and will graduate with a Master of Architecture in the Spring.

Contrary to her loud and charmingly chaotic household, Angelina has always spent her alone time drawing and painting. She finds a great deal of interest in detail – and how an architectural logic or theme can come alive through paying attention to the smaller things.

The first time that she visited her family’s hometown in Italy was with her mom, who she also considers a friend and an inspiration. They spent a weekend in Rome, skipping down the streets and jumping between churches. This trip was one of the first times that Angelina recalls being truly moved by architecture.

Angelina enjoys feeling grounded and deeply connected to nature. She finds inspiration through the textures, colors and smells of the outdoors. She is driven to create architecture that is enriched by, and embedded in the natural environment.
